Last day of school here, had to drag the soon to be 7 year old out of bed with about 30 mins before she had to leave the house. If only she slept that long on weekends…
This week in short:
- User research ops made up a lot of it. Drafted and got feedback on a survey/screener to send. Reminder ALWAYS test your survey with some real participants if you can before sending it to lots of people. We learned lots. Even then you’ll probably still find issues when you launch – metaphor for everything maybe?
- We’re working with a leadership team who are SO KEEN to hear about the user research. This is wonderful, but we need to figure out the best way to keep them in the loop sustainably.
- Reviewing some CVs for potential collaborators and colleagues always gives me the greatest imposter syndrome. I generally don’t feel it about the work, but some of the people – that’ll do it.
- Outside of work I pushed on with a bit of an experiment. ServiceDesignPrints and ‘Learn fast and make things’. Some day I’ll write up what I’ve learned about on demand printing, but for now I’m just glad I’ve managed to not lose money on printing a couple of things for people. Photo proof it actually worked below…
